Baptism is the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God.

Confirmation completes baptismal grace, strengthening the baptized with the special gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life — the Body and Blood of Christ truly present under the appearances of bread and wine.

In the Sacrament of Penance we receive God's mercy and are reconciled with Him and with the Church.

Through this sacrament, the Church commends to the suffering Lord those who are gravely ill or advanced in age, that He may raise them up and save them.

In marriage a baptized man and woman form a covenant of the whole of life, ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children.

Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission Christ entrusted to His apostles continues in the Church — the ordination of bishops, priests, and deacons.

The Church accompanies her children at the end of their earthly pilgrimage, commending them to God in the funeral rites and praying for the repose of their souls.
